JMVH is the Journal of the Australian Military Medicine Association and is a peer reviewed journal encompassing research and advances in military and veterans’ health. It has a broad focus that considers health matters across the whole life of the service member – from before enlistment, through Service life and after separation, recognising as is becoming increasingly obvious that the health impacts of service life extend well beyond the immediacy of current employment.
Many of the articles contained in JMVH are authoritative medical opinions, with submissions from independent authors and opinion leaders that cover all facets of medicine in relation to Military and Veterans’ Health.
JMVH is distributed to Australian Military Medicine Association members, Defence Force personnel (national and international), Australian medical libraries and Defence libraries. As the journal is relatively new, it is expected that the readership distribution will grow significantly.
JMVH is currently published 4 times per annum.
